Albertville may be getting a new aquatic center...
VO TEXT - The city of Cullman has an aquatic center that Albertville is watching. Officials from Albertville want to learn what Cullman has done with its center and how it has paid for itself. A nonprofit has just formed to seek support for a new center in Albertville, and they seem to have the support of Councilmen Nathan Broadhurst and Randy Amos in exploring the venture. The initial investment might be as high as 15 million dollars. In addition to a pool, the Cullman aquatic center has rented space to vendors including a massage therapist and a nail salon. An Albertville aquatic center would likely be different, but similar.
