USA Today took a closer look at Auburn coach Gene Chizik's contract and said the allegations against quarterback Cam Newton could have a financial impact on Chizik. Auburn could suspend one of both of the 60 thousand dollar payments it makes to Chizik in a month "in the event an investigation is instituted into alleged major rules violations involving coach Chizik and/or the football program." Also, Chizik's bonuses are subject to a clean slate. Right now there are lots of allegations, but very few proven facts as the NCAA investigates.
