The Albertville city council held a regular meeting last night and moved a step closer on the American Family Entertainment project. The council granted Morgan Keegan approval to begin the process of issuing the recovery zone facility warrants necessary to fund the project. Predictions are that the center would open about a year from now. Diane McClendon, council president, said the city will have up to $9.5 million at its disposal through the warrants. The center will include a movie theater and bowling center, among other attractions. The city is looking at a location on State Route 75, east of U.S. Highway 43 to build.
