Marshall County flood warning

The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for an area of Alabama including Marshall County. The warning concerns the Paint Rock River, which is forecast to rise above flood stage today, cresting at 16 and a half feet, which is a half-foot above flood stage. The river will fall below flood stage by late tonight. Be especially cautious of flood waters, especially at night. If, while driving, you see water over a road--turn around, don't drown. The water depth might be too great to allow your vehicle to cross.
