A Marshall County man has been arrested in Morgan County. Last Saturday, 33-year-old Joshua John McBride was stopped on Highway 231 in Union Grove by a sheriff's deputy who had received a complaint of a suspicious man in the area. A search of McBride's jackpot pockets turned up a number of items described as having been stolen from the Morgan City Salvage Store. He eventually confessed to stealing the merchandise, which included watches, knives, lighters, tools and more. McBridge was arrested and charged with third degree burglary and unlawful possession of prescription drugs.
