Alabama's primary runoff election was held Tuesday and the winners included: Republican Twinkle Andress Cavanaugh in the statewide GOP runoff for President of the Public Service Commission. Bill Monroe won the Democratic runoff for DeKalb County Superintendent. In Jackson County, the Democratic runoffs for County Commission Chairman went to Matthew Hodges, County Commission District 2 went to Sheila Cornelison and Probate Judge went to Victor Ray Manning. In Marshall County, the Republican County Commission runoffs were won by R.E Martin in District 2 and C.W. "Buddy" Allen in District 3.
