Two men allegedly involved in a gunfight in Anniston last month are now involved in a legal fight. 21-year-old Carey Lamont Richardson of Oxford is charged with attempted murder and assault in a shooting that took place April 29th in the parking lot of Discount Food Mart on Noble Street. Police say Richardson wants an attempted murder charge brought against 23-year-old Michael Anthony Brown of Anniston, who has so far only been charged with assault. Both are accused in connection with a 38-year-old Anniston woman who was shot during the gunfight but survived.
