The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for an area including Marshall, DeKalb, Etowah, Calhoun, Cherokee and Blount counties. A cold front will produce isolated thunderstorms this afternoon, a few of which could be strong to severe. The main threats are large hail, damaging winds and lightning.
