Arab police recently expanded their fleet of motor vehicles. WAFF reports that the department has added four military-style humvees. They were acquired through government surplus and all it cost was the price of transporting them--about 350 dollars each. Chief Ed Ralston says they will come in handy during bad weather because of their four-wheel drive capability. However, one has been painted black, with police logos and lights added, for use in public relations with local schools.
