A man who ran for county commissioner in Madison County earlier this year was arrested Sunday on the Tennessee River near Guntersville. State marine police charged Joey Parker with operating a vessel under the influence. They turned Parker over to the Marshall County Sheriff's Department, where a sheriff's spokesman said he posted bond.
