Gadsden police have identified the man arrested after a confrontation with security at the Walmart in East Gadsden last Friday morning. 28-year-old Antonio Dericko Owens of Gadsden allegedly tried to leave the store with a television for which he had not paid. After getting into a scuffle with a store employee, police say Owens fled to the gas station in front of Walmart, where he was taken into custody. He is charged with third-degree robbery and second-degree theft of property.
